Frequently Asked Questions

How long does your product last?

Our best before date is two months from the packing date. You can find the label at the back of the packaging.

Please store Kumamen product in the freezer at or below -18°C.

How long should I cook the noodle?

It’s a matter of preference really. If you like your noodle tough and chewy, boil them for 2 to 3 minutes. If you like it more on the softer side, just cook it for 4 to 6 minutes. Please make sure all ingredients are cooked or heated thoroughly before consumption.

If you are cooking more than one noodle in a pot, make sure you have plenty of rapidly boiling water going or the water temperature will drop drastically once you place the noodles and find yourself with sad, clumpy noodles.

Please keep in mind you need at least 1L of rapidly boiling water to completely submerge and cook one noodle. Use a big pot to cook our noodle (the same pot you would use when you’re making pasta). Make sure you separate the noodles as you cook to avoid any clumping.

Where can I find the cooking instruction for your noodle kit?

Our packaging comes with nutrition fact and cooking instruction at the back. You can also find the instruction here.

Cooking times are a guide only and may vary depending on your appliance. Cook or heat from frozen. Thawing is not recommended.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan option?

We have one menu that is suitable for vegetarian — Orikuma with mushroom topping. We currently do not offer any menu that is suitable for vegan.

Is your product nut-free?

We do not use nuts in our products. However, our products are made in facilities that handle nuts. For more allergen information, please refer to each menu.

Is your packaging heat-resistant or microwaveable?
