When you buy something on this website, we collect personal information from you to fulfil the order. This information are including but not limited to:

  • To deliver the products you have purchased from Kumamen

  • To update you on the delivery of the product and for customer support purposes

  • To provide you with relevant product information

  • To send you marketing and/or promotional materials from time to time

We will not share your information with any other organisations other than related companies and those third parties directly related to the delivery of the products you have purchased from Kumamen website. We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, and Stripe, our E-Commerce payment processing platform, so they can provide services to us. 

As you go through checkout, this site may auto-complete your shipping and billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience.  When credit card details are collected, we pass them on to be processed as required. 

Squarespace hosts this website. Squarespace collects personal data when you visit this website, including: 

  • Information about your browser, network and device 

  • Web pages you visited before coming to this website 

  • Your IP address

Order and Delivery

Please take care when placing your order. We accept no liability or responsibility for incorrectly placed orders, nor do we accept liability or responsibility for delivery details which are incorrectly supplied, or which you fail to supply.

You are not permitted to purchase any items for resale to a third party or for trade purposes.

We will send a text message a day before delivery to provide you with the delivery time window and reminder for placing an esky should no one will be home to receive the order. We will deliver the products to the front door of your nominated delivery address. You must make all appropriate arrangements to assist and allow us to deliver the products, including ensuring safe access and obtaining any prior security or other approvals which may apply to the delivery address. If an event occurs that is beyond our control, we may not be able to deliver within agreed time window and will not be liable to you or any other person for any such delay. In this instance, we will endeavour to provide you with notice of the delay as soon as reasonably possible.

We cannot commit to an even smaller delivery window. We will try to accommodate, but cannot guarantee special requests.

If you will not be at home at the expected delivery time, we recommend you place a well-insulated esky with ice packs inside and nominate a cool safe place for it. If you advise us of any specific delivery instructions in an order, we will endeavour to comply with these instructions to the extent reasonably within our control. If no one answers the door, no esky can be found and you cannot be reached, we will place your order by the front door and are not liable or responsible once the product has been delivered to you.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if any item is defective, damaged or wrong items have been received, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Please make sure everything is thoroughly cooked and heated upon consumption.

Refund Policy

Bear Noodles Pty Ltd (17 640 449 038), trading as Kumamen, is bound by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to provide our customers with an appropriate refund policy. As part of this policy, we are not required to provide you with a refund if you simply change your mind after completing the order.  

You must live in our delivery area to order. We will issue a refund if you do not live in our delivery area after deducting a 5% administration fee.

Please take care when specifying your delivery address as refunds will not be given if you enter an address incorrectly.

You will be responsible for the order from the time we deliver the products in accordance with your instructions. We accept no liability or responsibility for any product once the product has been delivered to you.

We will provide you with a refund if: 

  • We have delivered your order to the wrong address or not according to your instructions.

  • Our product is significantly different from the description we relied upon ordering.

  • Our product is not fit for consumption upon reception.

  • Our product failed to meet hygiene standards.

​If you seek a refund for any other reason, you can request a refund and we will consider each request at our reasonable discretion. If your refund is approved, we will process the refund within 14 days of the day we confirmed to you that you were entitled to a refund.
